Questions people ask
Is Bizee or Northwest cheaper?
Bizee is cheaper in year one ($0 vs $39 plus the same state fee). From year two Northwest's agent costs $125 a year and Bizee's costs $149. Over three years that's $289 for Northwest and $298 for Bizee in service fees.
Which is better for privacy?
Northwest. It lists its own address on your filings by default wherever the state allows. Bizee also acts as your agent, so its address appears as the registered agent address, but Northwest builds its whole pitch around keeping owners off public records.
Do both include a registered agent?
Yes. Both include the first year of registered agent service with formation. After that Northwest charges $125 a year and Bizee charges $149 a year.
Can I switch from Bizee to Northwest later?
Yes. You file a change of registered agent form with your state, and many states charge a small fee for it. Each of our state registered agent guides lists that fee.
Do I need either one?
No. You can file directly with your state and be your own registered agent if you have a street address there. You save the service fee but your address goes on the public record.
