Privacy policy

Short version: no accounts, no selling your data, standard analytics, and affiliate cookies only if you click through to a provider.

What we collect

You don't need an account to use this site and we don't ask for your name or email. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic request data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and block abuse.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are useful and which links people click, including clicks through to formation services. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and receives data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type and referring site. We don't send it your name, email or anything you type. You can block it with your browser's privacy settings or Google's opt-out add-on. Cloudflare may also collect aggregate, cookie-free performance statistics.

Affiliate links

When you click a link to a provider such as Bizee or Northwest Registered Agent, you pass through a short redirect on our site and then land on the provider's site. The provider and its affiliate network may set cookies there to credit the referral. Their privacy policies apply on their sites. See our affiliate disclosure.

Your browser storage

If you pick a state in the state ledger on our home page, we remember that choice in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

Selling or sharing data

We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
